As part of the Gingers World
Championship preparations, they have just been scanned using an amazing
new type of technology. Jacqui Clarke, a leading expert in this field,
visited them at home and took infrared images of their bodies. This
pioneering technique provides detailed heat images of the Gingers’
bodies and will allow Jacqui to spot any signs of abnormal heat within
their bodies that may suggest inflammation. We were not allowed to touch them as
the heat from our hands would transfer directly onto them. This direct
visualisation of their bodies can help with the early diagnosis of areas
before they become a cause for concern. Jacqui will now analyse in
detail all of the images at home.
The Gingers were very fortunate to be a
part of this amazing thermography technique and we look forward to
seeing the results in a few weeks’ time.
